What people ask about Veram.
Short answers. The longer story is on how it works; what we keep is on your data; how Veram compares with Hinge and Tinder is here.
Is there a dating app that uses my ChatGPT memory?
Yes: Veram. You ask ChatGPT (or Claude, or Grok) to write your personality portrait from what it remembers of your conversations, saying for each claim how it knows it. You paste that portrait into Veram, and it becomes your profile and the basis for introductions.
Does Veram read my ChatGPT conversations?
No. Veram never connects to your AI account and never sees your chat history. Your AI writes a portrait; you choose to paste it. Veram reads that text once to build your profile and then discards it.
Is it safe to share my ChatGPT memory with a dating app?
With Veram you never share it directly. Veram never connects to your ChatGPT and never sees your chat history. You ask your AI for a portrait, read it, and paste only what you choose. Veram reads it once and discards the text, keeps only the claims about you, and leaves out anything about other people, health, money, religion or politics. You can export or delete everything in one tap.
How do I use ChatGPT to write a dating profile?
Ask it what it knows about you, the way a friend would describe you, rather than asking it to polish a bio. Veram's prompt does this for you: it opens ChatGPT with the request already typed, ChatGPT writes from its memory of you and says how it knows each thing, and you paste the answer into Veram, which turns it into an honest dating portrait. It takes about two minutes and it's free.
What does Veram keep about me?
A headline, a set of claims about you and, for each one, your AI's short note on how it knows it; your answers about who you're looking for; your zip code and how far you'll go; any basics you choose to add (height, religion, politics, drinking); up to six photos; and a structured deep profile (values, life direction, temperament, how you relate, daily rhythms). Anything about other people in your life, money, health, religion, politics or sexual orientation is filtered out of your portrait before anything is stored.
How is Veram different from Tinder, Hinge or Bumble?
There is no swiping and no profile you have to perform. Veram starts from years of your unguarded questions to an AI rather than a few curated prompts, introduces you to at most three people at a time, and shows why: where you rhyme, and the one place you would rub. All before anyone sees a name or photo.
How does Veram's matching work?
First, hard lines both ways: age and gender preferences, distance, kids and smoking. Then a compatibility score weighted toward what relationship research supports: shared values and life direction, compatible ways of handling disagreement, and rhythms that could share a week. A matchmaker model reads the shortlist, and a written report explains each introduction with a line from each person.
Can Veram predict chemistry?
No one can from profiles alone; the research is clear on that. Veram's aim is narrower and honest: avoid introductions that were bound to fail, explain every introduction with evidence, and learn from which introductions actually led to a meeting.
How much does Veram cost?
Your portrait is free, and reading introductions is free. You pay only to meet someone. That's a reveal: $9.99, or 3 for $24.99, or 5 for $39.99. The first 20,000 members get their first reveal free. Saying meet back to someone who already said meet to you is always free. If a reveal doesn't turn into a conversation within seven days, the reveal comes back to your account automatically.
What happens if I pay and they never reply?
Seven days after your reveal, if you two haven't both written in the thread (because they didn't say meet, or said it but never wrote), one reveal is added back to your account automatically and we email you. If they say not for me or unmatch before you have both written, it comes back right away. It's a credit for your next introduction, not a card refund.
What is a reveal?
Saying "meet" to an introduction. You see their name and photos and the full report; if they say meet too, a private thread opens. Before that, neither of you sees a name or photo.
Which AI assistants work with Veram?
ChatGPT, Claude and Grok open with the prompt pre-filled; any other assistant with memory of your conversations works by copying the prompt. Memory or chat-history reference must be switched on in your assistant.
What if my AI doesn't remember much about me?
Veram asks your AI to say so rather than invent anything, and caps how confident any claim can be. You can check every claim, flag what's wrong, answer seven questions an AI can't know, and let your AI go deeper later.
Is Veram only for dating?
Veram is a dating app. You can also compare portraits with someone you already know, a partner or a friend, and get a report on the two of you.
Where is Veram available?
Veram is launching in New York City first. Anyone can make a portrait today. Introductions open in a state once enough people there have joined, starting with New York, and other states follow as they fill.
Is there an AI dating app in New York?
